Global Media Spotlight: Overseas Outlets Cover Mugen3D’s Latest Upgrade

Business Insider, AP, The Globe and Mail, National Post and other international outlets cover Mugen3D’s single-image generation and campus deployments.

As AIGC surges, the digital world is shifting from 2D to 3D. Yet in embodied AI, spatial computing and interactive entertainment, 3D asset supply remains constrained: traditional pipelines rely on manual modeling, rigging and animation; diffusion-based 3D video often stays at pixel streams, needs enterprise GPU clusters, and rarely exports geometry with physical bounds for engines and simulation.

Sumeru AI (Shenzhen Quxiang Spacetime) addresses this with Mugen3D, its real-time interactive 3D engine — simplifying digital-human and scene generation while breaking the continuous-inference cost trap of conventional AIGC.

Mugen3D combines proprietary geometry with 3D Gaussian Splatting: one photo becomes a 4K-fidelity model in minutes, preserving face, hair, fabric and lighting as reusable spatial assets — not prerendered video. Training ran on eight consumer RTX 5090s; 8GB+ VRAM enables realtime inference on-device, cutting compute cost by nearly 100× versus large video models.

Assets generate once and reuse forever across Unity, Unreal and WebGL — ideal for education, customer service and game NPCs. AI teacher platforms are live at BIT, SJTU, Shenzhen University and HKUST, serving nearly 1,000 educators and tens of thousands of students.

The upgrade has been covered by AP, Business Insider, National Post, The Globe and Mail and dozens of international outlets. Sumeru AI joined NVIDIA Inception and took runner-up in the AI Agent / “Second Brain” track at 36Kr WAVES 2026.
